Lessons Learned From The Book The Richest Man in Babylon

If you are interested in learning to make money and moving up in the business world then you should read the book the Richest man in Babylon. I'm going to get straight to the 2 lessons I learned in this book.

Lesson one; The first lesson I learned is that for every 10 gold coins that I make to save 1 gold coin. This should be done weekly without fail, to make it a habit. Then once you have enough gold or in our instance money.  Then you should invest your money. It is better to learn as much as you can and get a lot of experience.

Lesson Two: The second lesson is that once you have enough money you should invest. Investing is tricky if you don't know what you're doing, in the book there's a part where the man saved enough money and he invested in jewelry with a carpenter and he lost his money. What is the lesson? that you shouldn't trust a carpenter with jewelry investing, you should trust a jeweler with jewelry investing. The man learned from his failures and did it again, and slowly he started becoming a wealthy man.

I learned this lesson as well and I started picking up more business books, learning to account, and for my small businesses I outsourced people that knew things I didn't know. Slowly my businesses are bringing in more money.
